What is CBD?
CBD is one of the over 85 naturally occurring compounds found in varying concentrations in different parts of the hemp plant. It’s a part of the Cannabiceae family. It has significant medical benefits but it does not impair mental faculties like the other common compound in the plant, THC. It has even been shown to counteract the effects of the THC. CBD is non psychoactive and non-psychedelic. Patients looking for relief from pain, seizures, inflammation, anxiety, side effects from cancer treatments or even to combat tumors are looking more and more to CBD.
What is CBD Isolate?
Isolate refers to a compound in uncombined form. In the context of CBD it simply means pure CBD in a powder form with no other compounds present.
What is THC?
THC is one of the over 85 naturally occurring compounds found in numerous concentrations in different parts of the cannabis plant. It reacts on the CB1 and CB2 receptors in the brain. THC is the main psychoactive component of the marijuana plant. In other words, THC is the primary agent responsible for creating the “high” feeling associated with marijuana use. This compound works by imitating the effects of a neurotransmitter produced naturally by the human body to help modulate sleeping and eating habits, as well as the perception of pain.
What is the Benefit of water soluble CBD isolate?
What sets CBD + Co. apart from other pharmaceutical CBD companies, is a higher bioavailability of the CBD. Our bodies are mostly water, and oftentimes, compounds that have been purified and concentrated are not readily available to be absorbed by the body. CBD + Co. Honey Drops stand apart from other CBD isolate products by offering a water-soluble CBD isolate. Because it is fully soluble in water, after first being milled to the smallest possible particle size, it will be readily absorbed into the bloodstream for a faster response, and a more complete absorption.
What is the difference between CBD isolate and CBD oil?
CBD isolate is pure CBD. CBD oil has other cannabidiol oils and terpenoids.
What is the difference between Hemp and Marijuana?
Both hemp and marijuana (cannabis) come from the same plant. The term cannabis (or marijuana) is used when describing a Cannabis Sativa plant that is bred for its potent, resinous glands, trichomes. Trichomes contain high amounts of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the cannabinoid most known for its psychoactive properties. Hemp, on the other hand, is used to describe a Cannabis Sativa plant that contains only trace amounts of THC. Hemp is a high-growing plant, typically bred for industrial uses such as oils and topical ointments, as well as fiber for clothing, construction, and much more. As the medicinal benefits of CBD are moving into the mainstream, more and more hemp is being grown for medicinal uses.
Are hemp derived cannabinoids like CBD as good as ones from marijuana?
Yes, CBD can be derived from either plant. Marijuana grown for high THC content yields less CBD and separating the CBD may prove more of a challenge. If the goal is CBD, hemp is the better option.
What is the percentage of CBD in your products?
Our products begin with 100% pure CBD so each dose contains 100% CBD
Do your products have other cannabidiols in them?

What do psychoactive and psychedelic mean?
